* Gold fused is not to be confused with gold plated as Gold fused literally has 100% more gold than gold plated.
* Unlike plated (aka electroplated or "dipped") metals, Gold-fused is legally required to contain 5% or 1/20 gold by weight. This 5% is then described by the Karats of the gold alloy. We use 18K Gold-filled items.
* With proper care, Gold fused pieces can last 10- 15 years. Gold filled contains 100 times more pure gold as gold plated - it has real gold beauty but it`s a lot more affordable.
